Does CURLPRO PLUS work on thick, coarse hair?
Yes. Its adjustable heat and extended barrel are designed for different textures, including thick and coarse hair. For resistant strands, use the 410°F / 210°C setting and style in small sections.
Can I adjust the temperature for my hair type?
Yes. Choose from 320°F / 160°C for bleached, damaged or fine hair, 365°F / 185°C for fine to normal hair, and 410°F / 210°C for thick or coarse hair.
Is changing the heat setting easy?
Yes. The power button also controls the temperature. Briefly press it to move between the three heat levels; the indicator light shows the selected setting.
How long can the curls last?
TYMO states that curls can last for up to 72 hours. Actual hold varies with hair type, preparation, humidity and the finishing products you use.
How does it help minimize hair damage?
The ceramic coating and 600 million negative ions are designed to reduce frizz, support shine and help retain moisture while styling. Always select the appropriate temperature for your hair.
Is the barrel suitable for long hair?
Yes. The 110 mm extended heating area gives long and thick hair more room around the barrel, helping style longer sections more evenly and efficiently.
What’s the difference between CURLPRO and CURLPRO PLUS?
CURLPRO uses a shorter 66 mm barrel suited to classic, tighter curls and shorter hair. CURLPRO PLUS upgrades to a 110 mm barrel and dual-heating technology, making it better suited to medium, long or thick hair and softer, bouncier styles.
Can I travel internationally with it?
Yes. CURLPRO PLUS supports 100–240V dual voltage. You may still need the correct plug adapter for your destination.
How do I create softer beach waves?
Curl the full head, let the curls cool, then gently separate or comb through them with a wide-tooth comb. This loosens the definition into softer, natural-looking S-shaped waves.
What’s the difference between CURLPRO PLUS and CURLGO?
CURLPRO PLUS is wired, has a 110 mm heating area and produces 600 million/cm³ negative ions for medium and long hair. CURLGO supports cordless and wired use, with a compact 66 mm heating area designed for short and medium hair.
Which model is better for short hair?
Both can style short hair. Choose CURLPRO for tighter, more defined curls and easier control with its shorter barrel. Choose CURLPRO PLUS for looser, bouncier waves and a softer finish.
